The 2GIG Super Switch TAKE-345 is a wireless takeover module designed to seamlessly convert up to eight existing hardwired alarm zones into individual, supervised 345 MHz wireless zones, making it ideal for retrofit projects. This module allows installers to modernize legacy security systems by integrating hardwired sensors into a 2GIG wireless ecosystem with minimal effort and without running new sensor wiring. It operates on 9-16 VDC, drawing a mere 50 mA, and can utilize the existing alarm panel’s power and backup battery for uninterrupted operation during power outages. The TAKE-345 mounts conveniently, often beside the existing control panel, and includes mounting hardware for quick installation. Multiple units can be used for systems requiring more than eight hardwired zones.
